On Thursday, November 6, 2008, The New York Times held the Fifth Annual Taste of T event at the Architects and Designers Building, 150 East 58th Street in New York City.

In celebration of all things epicurean, the festivities included an evening of gourmet food prepared by some of the world’s most acclaimed chefs and wine tasting in some of New York's most gorgeous kitchen showrooms.

In addition, guests were able to mingle with the chefs, national TV cooking show hosts, and best-selling cookbook authors.

Part of the proceeds from this event were donated to God's Love We Deliver, the nonprofit organization committed to providing meals to people living with serious illnesses.

To help GLWD with their fund-raising efforts, Supima® and Crooked Brook donated this chef coat (embroidered with the logos of the following chef’s restaurants) to the evening's charity auction.
